So I'm trying to put together a list of geeky traits for a random geek generator and I need some suggestions. The whole point is to mix realism, stereotypes and outrageously funny, so I'm after suggestions in the following categories:

+ Abnormal Anatomy (notable physical traits a geek might possess)
+ Claim to Fame (what area of geekdom to they inhabit?)
+ Gear, gadgets and gimmickery (what's signiture item or clothing to they wear/possess)
+ Quirks and oddities (what personality/behavioural quirks do they have?)

If you have any suggestions, I'd be really interested in hearing what you think ought to be included in these lists.

Anatomy: tall and skinny, long hair: only gets a hair cut every 2 years, long fingers, large nose, large breasts, cross-eyes, pointy ears, tattoos in elvish, 10DD bra size,

Claims to fame: watched all episodes if star trek in order of star date, won more money playing mtg than has spent on it, completely avoided ever watching the star wars prequels, knows every character in The Adventures of Chifley

Gear: coke bottle glasses, coke bottle, argyle pantyhose, princess-leia hair, always carries at least two books, cat-eye contact lenses, rainbow braces, toe socks

Quirks: invents nicknames for everyone they meet, skips all classes to play 500, doesn't possess an "inside voice", only possesses an "inside voice", snorts wizz-fizz

hmmm... Depends on the geek. Although the aussie geeks do tend to be strong friends both online and offline. It's one of the things that makes us cool ;)

notable physical traits a geek might possess... - what about a physical non-trait (an anti-trait, if you will) ... tries to blend in when interacting with mainstream groups eg work groups, parents' groups (if old enough to have children), has to check out these groups to work out the dominant paradigm 'cos normally doesn't pay much attention to this. Drinkies topic: norming and camouflage in social groups, hehe.

area of geekdom - imprinted on gritty 70's SF series Blakes 7, loved its iron curtain overtones

Gear, gadgets and gimmickery - no matter what camouflage you're in, always carry a usb stick

Quirks and oddities - loves martial arts, thinks a properly serious training session always involves bruises
